Amanda Nicole Scott, daughter of Thomas and Susan Scott, Palmerton, became the bride of Alan James Wehr, son of Mark and Julie Wehr, Slatington, on May 15, 2010, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Slatington. The Rev. Russell F. Haab officiated the double ring ceremony. Joanne Perich was the organist; and the bride's brother, Thomas Scott Jr., Palmerton, was the greeter.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride chose her cousin, Amber Crepezzi, Palmerton, as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Scott, Jessup, Md., cousin of the bride; and Lisa Saluta, Catasauqua.

Negril, Jamaica, was the setting for the Aug. 14 wedding of Amanda F. Scheitrum and Daniel Miller.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School and a 2010 graduate of Misericordia University.

She is currently pursuing a master's degree in clinical psychology at Chestnut Hill College.

Mr. Miller is a 2004 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School and is currently emloyed as a machinist, at Dalla's Machine Shop in Schnecksville.

The Rev. David Dolence officiated the double ring ceremony.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her mother to be the matron of honor.
