Charlotte Hughes, daughter of Candy and Tony Roper of Abbeville, S.C., and Jared Stroup, son of Gavin and Janice Stroup of Palmerton, were wed on Friday, April 13 in Greenwood, S.C.

The Rev. Jason Wilson officiated the ceremony. Benjamin Sprouce was the vocalist.

The bride was given in marriage by her son, Dawson Hughes. Shanna Sutherland, Abbeville, was the maid of honor.

The bridegroom chose his brothers, Shane and Travis Stroup, to serve as best men. Ushers were Dusty, Logan and Hayden Kresge, and Derbe Stroup, all of Palmerton.

The Rev. Kenny Crosswhite officiated the double ring ceremony.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride chose Janet Creque and Michelle Siebenaler, both of Ohio, as maids of honor.
