Tamaqua Cross Country Awards

The Tamaqua Area High School cross country teams were honored at a banquet by their booster club on Sunday, Nov. 15 at the New England Fire Company. The Blue Raiders finished with a record of 9-2 while the Lady Raiders posted a mark of 10-1. Participating in the awards ceremony were, from left, Kenny Dunkelberger, presenting the Anthony J. LoCasio Memorial Award to Colleen Rorke; head coach Tom Kanger, presenting the top female varsity runner award to Amber Carroll; and Wayne Truskey, presenting the Christopher P. Truskey Memorial Award to Ricky Clemson, who was also the top male varisty runner.
